Proposed on a 25-acre site south of the Strip, the Oak View Group (OVG) project aims to build a state-of-the-art arena specifically designed to attract an NBA expansion team.
The Stadium Strategy
Unlike T-Mobile Arena, which is firmly embedded in the MGM ecosystem, the OVG project represents an independent entertainment district. By locating south of Mandalay Bay, the project seeks to capitalize on the southward expansion of the tourist corridor (accelerated by Allegiant Stadium).
